X-treme "X"

Probably our most challenging week thus far, hence the single blog post for 2 weeks of "X". Dad found us some "X" music by a composer named Xenakis and another piece titled Xivarri.

This week we played "Xs and Os":

Read "X" books from the library:

The sports ones in this photo are all about an annual event called "The X Games"... who knew?:

We coloured "X" pictures such as the xenops bird and xiphias (swordfish):

Jacob said at breakfast one morning, "Look Mom, I made an 'X'!":

Madison and Jacob glued 2 different "X" paper plate crafts (xylophone and x-ray):

I created an "X marks the spot" scavenger hunt for the kids, it was awesome to see their excitement running from room to room looking for the clues:

We made a really neat x-ray fish craft that I found the plans for online:

When we played Speed Scrabble with Nana, I got stuck with "X":

Jacob made a xiaosaurus (it really is a dinosaur!) toilet paper roll craft:

And we of course, brought our xylophone out to play with during "X" weeks:
