"L" launched...

Looking at my list, it has been a full first week of "L"! We ate lettuce and licorice, lentil soup and lifesavers, and drank lemonade. Jacob has a newfound love for locking things up with our toy handcuffs. We talked to Aunty Lynda on the phone, who has a daughter named Lucy. Madison took a dog for a walk using a leash.

This is one of the many posters that decorate Madison's ceiling:

We have been enjoying the strong fragrance in our backyard of this California Lilac bush:

Showing the love on our fridge:

Sent some of that love with Daddy on a business trip:

Jacob continued his love for lotion:

We heard from Aunt Kate in London:

Jacob licked a lollipop:

We went to the lagoon where Madison log-leaped:

She had lots to choose from!

And Jacob did what Jacob loves to do:

At the lagoon that day, we also saw a limo (and a dead sea lion, but I didn't take a pic of that!):

The kids and I pulled out the Lipsmackers and sampled all of the flavours:

We did a lion craft:

Made a chain of links to count down the days until Daddy gets home:

We met a friend's brand new puppy, named Lily:

Drove up to Qualicum to see an art gallery exhibit that included these lovely lilies:

Found a lighthouse:

Went for ice cream and of course, licked it lots and lots:

Baked Jacob some birthday cupcakes and Mads licked the batter bowl:

Took dessert to a friend's house, what else but lemon meringue pie:

Baked some lovely lemon loaf:

We were invited to a family picnic where Madison and a friend tied their legs together for a race:

Our leaf decor for "L" weeks:

The lacy "L" paper plate craft for our alphabet collection on the wall:

The laundry room on "LAUNDRY DAY":

Fluffy little lamb craft:

Yet another "L" craft (told you we were busy this week!):

Lady, the most fought-over train in our collection:
