Tuckered out "T"

After we got home from our Topeka trip, I was slammed with a wicked cold that had me down all week (and I am still not recovered from). Thus, this week was quieter than usual, and we spent every day around the house. We ate tuna and tomatoes, turkey and toast. We tried to log on a TY toy that Madison was given named "Totally Troy".

We pulled out the tangrams:

Madison went back to art class and continues to learn about this artist:

The kids chose tattoos to put on:

Madsy and I began a new book series to read together:

We did TONS of "T" colouring pages:

It took a lot of teamwork to create this treasure:

Warren was so happy to get home to his beloved tea:

Since I was sick, he grabbed a few groceries from our favourite food store:

The kids and I played with a new magnetic time book:

They created a tissue paper "T" paper plate craft for our wall collection:

Madison and Jacob played with Lego for hours and hours this week (I was so thankful for that). At one point, we decided to build the Titanic, but halfway through, J. claimed the pieces to make a different boat so this is as far as we got:

The kids (and friends) used tools while playing one of their favourite games called "Fix-It":

We played with a new spinning top:

Despite the rain on Saturday, we drove up to Top Bridge Park, walked the trails and crossed the towering suspension bridge:

One of our quiet activities was making a totem pole craft:

The Tower of Babel was our Sabbath school activity theme last week (forgot to post pic):

Madison and Jacob turned J's favourite truck into a tow truck:

Throughout the week, Jacob kept on adding more trees to his "tree forest":

We did a new-to-us tree puzzle:

Madsy and I played Trouble:

Jacob created a truck using tissue paper:

This week for Sabbath school, our theme was The Twelve Disciples:

Jacob loves colouring right now, so he coloured an extra picture:

We played Twister:

And tried the letter version that we found at a thrift store:

There were so many more things that were on our list to do this week, but with getting back from our trip, and my being so sick, we just didn't. We were going to visit a train station, walk on train tracks, visit real totem poles, and go to Tiger Lily Farm. I also wanted to get the kids out on our trampoline and tie-dye some t-shirts.
