The rest of "R"

We started off this week with Daddy's run - he posted his best ever time for a 10K race! This week we ate royal gala apples, rouladen, roast potatoes, rice pudding, and tried some new recipes! We tried our best to do as many Random Acts of Kindness as we could. We drove on a bridge over Englishman River, and helped our friends in their search for a house rental.

Nana snapped a picture of their resident rabbit:

Jacob and I built a racecar:

And he used his racecar hand towel:

We rendezvous'ed with our good friends who moved away. The boys raced:

And the girls rode bikes:

We pulled out some favourite games (Racko and Rummy-O):

Our bible lesson this week was about Rahab:

Here is a photo of the Ruth and Naomi colouring pages from last week's lesson:

We also coloured rainbows:

We ate raspberries:

And Daddy ate one of his favourite childhood foods:

We read more "R" books together:

Nana gave the kids some RCMP pens:

Jacob continues a colouring phase - I couldn't print out "R" pictures fast enough - he coloured rockets, racecars, robots, rabbits, roosters, racoons, rollers, and RCMP:

The kids helped Daddy put the recycling out for pick-up:

Madison adopted her latest Webkinz - a reindeer that she named Rayna:

The kids have rekindled their love for Playmobil and have played for hours this week:

I made one of our favourite family dinners - reuben sandwiches:

We baked rhubarb-raisin muffins:

Mads ate rice krispies for breakfast:

We went out for a special treat - breakfast at a restaurant:

We spotted this little "river" at Nana's beach:

Our family went here to play:

While there we watched a running retriever retrieve a rubber ball repeatedly:

We shared these candies with friends:

In our area, this rock wall has been in progress for months, and is now done:

While at Nana and Grandad's, this little rascally rodent braved the rain:

A highlight outing of this week was when Daddy and Madison went rock climbing at Romper Room:

A few things that were on the list but didn't get explored were: Rathtrevor Park, Roberts Memorial Park, rec centre, recycling depot, and visit to a radio station. Ah well, our week was radical nonetheless!
